.SCIENCE takes over the top spot knocking .XYZ to the second spot with an average of 3,160 daily registrations.  .XYZ falls to 2,582 daily registrations but will be the first new gTLD to reach 1 million domains by the end of June.

Top 25 gTLD Registration Volume May 2015

.PARTY is the only other TLD to have an average daily registration over 1,000 with an average of 1,766 daily registrations.  However, .PARTY is paid registrations whereas .SCIENCE and .XYZ have minimal or free registrations in their total registration volumes.

.网址 (.xn--ses554g meaning ‘web’) remains strong in fourth spot with 958 daily registrations followed by .TOP with 625.  .CLUB falls into 6th spot with an average of 587 registrations per day which is up from their usual averages from the first quarter which was around 535.  .WANG is also up in their daily average to 507 followed by .ONE at 503 average registrations.

The newly launched .DESIGN who entered into General Availability on May 12th has an average daily registration volume of 486 for the month of May.

The final top ten spot goes to .flowers with an average of 466 daily registrations.

Overall, there has been an increase in the number of daily registrations in May.  The top quartile has increased to an average of 281 registrations.  The second quartile increased to 39 daily registrations.  The third quartile of registries has an average daily registration volume of 18 where the fourth quartile has decreased to 10 registrations per day.  The overall daily registration average of all gTLDs is now 66.
